Guess we shouldn't known that Adobe had gone to long without another release. But we've been proved wrong. CS5 is coming to a computer near you.
Ready for the next generation of Adobe? Ar you ready for CS5? No? Yes? Well tough cookies because the world is about to move on without you. Just recently, Adobe made a nice and flashy home page to boast about the release of CS5.

Lets see here... right now, there are about 16 days until the first look. The programs will be released on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 8:00 AM PDT. (Live somewhere else? click) That's when the world of Adobe will go golden.

The unofficial blog for CS5 has been released too. CS5.org is a neat little blog with sneak peaks and such about this new sensation. http://cs5.org/

So what will this bring us? Supposedly more control. Videos of alleged CS5 programs have been leaked and so far, they look pretty cool. For example:

The video shows about a feature called content fill.

Another new program called Flash Catalyst (<< hope I spelled that right) aims to aid the building of *.SWF files and help make them look visually appealing. http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashcatalyst/

Right now, we can only wait.

Going to be a lot of happy graphic people out there. Didn't CS4 come out two years ago? I remember it was only two years ago that I used CS3. Crazy how we are already heading into CS5.

oh lol...

I must say this is real technology coming into play.
The transition from cs3 to 4 was really minimal... the only giant thing was 3D rendering and work, plus graphics card acceleration.

But in cs5 I can see the differences already... even if it's this one tool.
I love the adaptive content filler... something for the photomanipulators definately.

I don't know whether I'll be getting this one.
I'm pretty much broke after upgrading to cs4, and I use cs3 more than 4.
But we'll see... maybe they'll whip up a student offer.

nice find kewl
