iPad breaks another record – 1 million sold in 28 days Ipad_1Apple has reached another milestone by selling one million iPad by Friday. Apple sold their one millionth iPad on 28th day from its introduction on 3rd of April.
The first iPhone had taken 74 days to reach the milestone of 1 million. iPad has been called a revolutionary product from Apple and iPad has proven all its critics wrong. More than 12 million apps have already been downloaded from Apple app store.

Apple CEO, Steve Jobs said,
“One million iPads in 28 days–that’s less than half of the 74 days it took to achieve this milestone with iPhone.”

“Demand continues to exceed supply and we’re working hard to get this magical product into the hands of even more customers.”

iPad has already created a buzz and the market will soon be flooded with ‘iPad like’ products. The sales in the US has gone beyond expectation and the things will only go better with the international sale starting. Apple had earlier announced that they will start taking international orders from May 10th.

that is about $1000 , I love how Apples "affordable for everyone" policy doesn't apply in countries outside the US.
I don't believe taxes and shipping costs an additional $400.

lol, here isn't exactly "affordable". For $400 you can get the lowest model with absolutely nothing. The iPad/iPod Touch/iPhone isn't what it is, without extra gizmo's, gadgets, and/or apps. And even if that prices is golden for someone, the rest of there prices are for absolute cool-aid drinkers... Its over-hyped for whats really inside. The only thing they might have is design. There is no PC that makes you think its good looking and "Mac".

er... they were selling it here before the release date (3rd of April o_O... for some weird reason xD)
but it's like triple the price...
Anyways... woohoo!
go iPad!!!
The apps for the iPad are amazing- expensive- but amazing ^^
things will start looking even more glamourous after the new OS Big Grin
