An article in The New York Times reported some details on an agreement certainly not conducive to future development of land in the U.S. net neutrality. Google would be committed to pay the provider Verizon to get more speed for its content and web services. In essence, the opposite of those principles which form the basis for a long time the so-called neutrality of the Net platforms such as YouTube would therefore be able to shell out money to get better treatment in the management of Internet traffic by ISPs such as Verizon. But the New York Times article had revealed a tune, in clear dissonance with what reported by most other online sources. Instead spoke of a handshake in the name of defending the principles of non-discrimination of content, at least on the network, fixed network provider to the stars and stripes. |
