Some of you twitter people may know that Twitter has been getting attacked by malicious links that take your password and email when you click on it. | Twitter is going to be pushing a update here soon that is going to filter links and remove the ones that are bad. With the new filtering service, even if a bad link is already sent out in an e-mail notification and somebody clicks on it, the user will be safe, according to the post. The filtering will focus on links sent via direct messages and e-mail notifications about direct messages since the attacks occur primarily in those communications. We only hope that this will be enough warning to not click it. So what can you do on your part? Post this to other sites, friends, family anyone that might be interested in knowing about twitter attacks. |
